For the record…

I really, REALLY hate that Obama keeps on doing things that are so patently against the platform he ran under. I never thought he would be perfect, but I knew he had great potential. I still like the guy personally, and I think if we were to sit and talk that he and I would probably agree 90-95% of the time.

So why won’t he govern that way?!? I wanted to vote for him again, but now I’m going to have to “waste my vote” by writing somebody in. I hate that. I want to support him, I want him to be the leader he has the potential to be.

I understand compromise, and respect him for not always making the popular decision, but it’s getting to a point where he’s obviously getting pushed around and he seems oblivious to the fact. It makes little strategic sense to compromise with people who will never vote for you anyhow.

I truly respect him for trying, but he seems to not care that the people that put him into office are the same people he is hurting with all his “compromise”.

It is terribly disappointing, and I think his Presidential legacy is in serious jeopardy. I wish the candidate in 2008 was the President in 2012. I really do.
