Chan’s megastick (Phobaeticus chani), discovered in 2008 to be the world’s largest insect. We don’t know much about it, except that it lives in forest canopies and its eggs have little wing-like attachments on the side, making them look a little like the golden snitch from Harry Potter’s Quidditch.
